GREEN LANTERN: FUTURE STATE -
This one attempts to swing big, which is what you want in a Green Lantern run, but the execution is pretty inconsistent. The main story of various fractured corps without rings should have been more compelling and, in theory, should be good, but something is missing. Instead, it spreads itself thin across multiple plot lines. There is a lot of setup, but not much payoff. The art ranges from decent to great, depending on the story. Some pages pop while others feel rushed. The ambition is there, and a few character moments hit hard, especially with John Stewart. But overall, it feels more like a cool idea than a fully realized story. Not bad, but it does not really stick with you.
